Harasai: Psychotic kingdom
15/07/13 || Cobal
Harasai – whose monicker apparently derives from the word heresy — are another German outfit playing melodeath, and what makes them somewhat different from other similar acts is their high level of professionalism. Indeed, their songwriting is far beyond the average and I did hear some pretty elaborate guitar work, both electric and acoustic. Still, something I didn’t particularly fancy here is the lack of consistency of a couple songs that coulda been great if only they’ve lived up to the expectations they generate with their explosive openings. I guess something I cannot complain about in this album is lack of variety, uh? Cheers.
7/10: an honorable effort, that’s for sure.
After going thru that crap, you most likely wanna read something way more interesting. You do, admit it.
